Christopher Michael Mynheir

Christopher Michael Mynheir, 24, born and raised in Melbourne, FL, died July 11, 2017, as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident on his way home from work. He was born October 29, 1992, in Melbourne, FL, the son of Mark and Lori (Mitchell) Mynheir. He attended Covenant Christian School from kindergarten until 12th grade when he graduated in 2011. He then enrolled in the University of Central Florida where he graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in English-Creative Writing in 2015.
He attended Covenant Presbyterian Church in Palm Bay, and he worked as an Evidence Technician for Florida Department of Law Enforcement. Christopher is survived by his parents Mark and Lori; his sister Shannon and his brother Justin. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Ron and Judy Mitchell; and his paternal grandparents, Jack Mynheir (deceased) and Jack and Eve Garverich of Littleton, Colorado. He is also survived by his close friends from college, his active writing group, and his church friends, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 720 Emerson Drive NE, Palm Bay. A celebration of Chris’s life will be at 1:30 PM at the church followed by interment at Fountainhead Memorial Park.
